Vintage Illinois Beau Brummel Engraved 2-Tone
Absolutely beautiful Illinois 2-Tone, engraved Beau Brummel. The butler finish dial is in very nice condition. I'm not certain if the finish is original, but if not then it's a nice, older restoration. There is evidence that it may be original as the back is signed "7.1-30" in black ink. This lettering appears to have never been touched. Blued hands are also very nice and appear to be original. The case is unbelieveable. It 's construction is both 14K white and yellow gold fill with spectacular engraving on the bezel. I see no brassing nor wear on this gorgeous case! All case numbering appears original and matching. Case measurements are 28.5 mm wide, exclusive of crown, and 38 mm long. This cool Illinois is powered by its original and robust 6/0 size, 21 Jewel, Motor Barrel movement which bears serial number 5461995 from 1931. This watch has a new mainspring, new glass crystal, and new genuine leather strap.
