Vintage Patek Custom Coin-Edge 18K Rose Gold
Here is a magnificent, custom 18K cased Patek. This wristwatch was made by well noted Tourbillon maker Gene Clark. Many people consider Gene to have been the finest American watchmaker ever. It so happens that Gene started out making this watch for himself, and was convinced to sell it to one of his most valued customers when it was finished. The Fine Silver dial is totally hand made by Mr. Clark himself, along with the blued steel hands. Gene also made the custom, coin-edge, 18K Rose Gold case from scratch, and it is absolutely gorgeous! Case measurements are 31.2 mm in diameter, exclusive of the custom crown, and 38.2 mm in overall length. The see through back shows off the detail of the premier, hand-wind Patek movement. Housed in the beautiful case is a Patek Caliber 10-200 which was completely reworked and finely tuned by Clark himself. It is 24K gold plate over a delicate matte finish with highly polished, heat blued screws and black, (mirror), polished steel components. Fitted to this beauty is a genuine Patek strap with custom made 18K Rose Gold buckle also made by Clark. This watch has never been worn since Clark finished it.
